Saturn VR World Record
Since 2013 we have been organising the biggest gaming event in Austria, the GAME CITY Vienna. The event hosted by the association wienXtra and the City Vienna is with over 80.000 visitors one of the biggest in Austria and the biggest in the Viennese City Hall.
With 25.000 visitors in its year of inception in 2007, the GAME CITY has grown continually and is the biggest and most popular events in Vienna. Visitor numbers have grown since 2013 by 300%.
As organisers of the event, we are charged with all stages and elements of the event, ranging from the planning, CAD drawing, security management, approvals from municipal authorities, staffing, logistics and organisation to looking after media partners and creating follow-up reports.
MICE & Men is the lead-agency for Sky in the fiction category. We have been charged with organising exciting gala premiers for series such as: Das Boot, Babylon Berlin, Der Pass, The Walking Dead, Westworld, The New Pope as well as Game Of Thrones.
Alongside the premiers we execute various promotions for Sky, as well as corporate events such as the Sky Summer-festival.
Austria’s Gamer Johannes Löffelmann spent 28 Hours, 43 Minutes and 24 Seconds playing in virtual reality and secured the official Guinness World Records™ Titel! Equipped with a Playstation PS4 Pro and a Playstation VR-Google, he played “Job Simulator: The 2050 Archives”.
The previous record was set at 25 hours, 24 Minutes and 18 Seconds. The new record set in Vienna was directly certified by an official Guinness World Record Referee.
